Finnish real estate investment company Sponda Plc has signed a final agreement on the sale of shares in certain real estate companies, real estate properties and land sites to Whitehall Street Real Estate Limited and Niam Nordic Investment Fund III for approx. €401 million.
Sponda will record a profit of roughly €15 million on the transaction.
The sold properties comprise 43 investment properties as well as almost the entire Sales Properties portfolio that Sponda obtained through the Kapiteeli acquisition. Sponda announced the signing of a binding agreement on this matter on 16 February 2007.
