Sponda purchases 3 business properties in Helsinki Metropolitan Area (FI)

Finnish real estate investment company Sponda Plc has purchased a €12.3 million real estate portfolio comprising three business properties in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

The properties are retail property company Vepema Oy (6,200 m²) in Petikko and industrial-office property company KOy Martinkyläntie 53 (3,100 m²), both in Vantaa, and office-retail property company KOy Kylvöpolku (2,400 m²) in the Itä-Pakila suburb of Helsinki. The sellers are private individuals. The portfolio has an occupancy rate of 90% and unused building rights totalling approximately 3,000 m².
These properties are well situated logistically and with respect to transport communications, and the duration of their long-term lease contracts is 9-10 years. They fit in well with Spondas real estate portfolio, says Kari Inkinen, Spondas President and CEO.
