Skanska continues to develop, build and rent out new office premises at Hjälmarekajen on Universitetsholmen in Malmö. Skanska and Öhrlings PriceWaterhouseCoopers have signed a seven-year rental contract. Skanska's investment amounts to approximately €20 million (SEK 200 million).
The new office building at Hjälmarekajen will house a total of 8,500 m² of office space of which Öhrlings PriceWaterhouseCoopers will lease 3,700 m².

The project is part of the second phase that Skanska Öresund is developing and building at Hjälmarekajen on Universitetsholmen. Earlier, Skanska developed and build offices in the area for KMPG, White Arkitekter and FöreningsSparbanken. "We are very pleased to have Öhrlings PriceWaterhouseCoopers as new tenants at Hjälmarekajen," says Richard Hultin, President of Skanska Öresund. "We see a strong demand for offices in the area and this establishment facilitates a continued expansion on Universitetsholmen."
The project will begin at year-end 2006 and occupancy is scheduled for the end of 2008. Construction will be carried out by Skanska Sweden. Contact has been initiated with interested tenants for the remaining 4,800 m² of the project.
