REDEVCO has announced that Simon Smith (40) will take over as Managing Director of REDEVCO United Kingdom on 13 August 2007. His predecessor, Andrew Vaughan, is to join the board of REDEVCO Europe as Chief Operating Officer.
Smith previously held senior real estate positions at Chartwell Land plc and Fuller Peiser. Since 2004 he has been Director of Development at Prudential.
REDEVCO United Kingdom has built up a €1.2 billion portfolio of properties on the strength of its considerable expertise in the retail sector. Retailer demand for property remains buoyant in the UK and the market offers good long-term investment opportunities in this sector.
