Straulesti Lac Alfa SA, a company owned by SIF Moldova and Cityring Property has unveiled plans for the development of a €100m large-scale residential village with 1,400 apartments in Bucharest, Romania. The masterplan for the scheme was designed by JTP Architects London, with Somet SA acting as a general constructor. The project is expected to be delivered in four phases before 2023. The first phase is currently under development with the completion scheduled for Q3 2019.
Located at 242 Chitilei Road, on the shore of Straulesti Lake, the scheme will compromise 160 apartments (studios, one and two bedrooms), an enclosed park and a private pool. The development benefits from a close proximity to Colosseum Retail Park, which is currently undergoing €30m expansion, the Straulesti metro station, and new office district Presei Libere Square.
