Second phase of Islington Square sold (GB)

Sager Group in conjunction with joint venture partner Cain Hoy launch for sale the second phase of Islington Square. The launch will see the release of a new collection of Dakota suites, one and two bedroom apartments.

 

Once complete, Islington Square will form a €460.4m (£400m) 1.8 hectares Covent Garden style destination for London, providing 263 new homes, 108 serviced apartments and 15793.5m² square feet of retail and leisure facilities.

 

Islington Square combines four buildings on the new development, the principal Edwardian building, once the main sorting office is, 8 Esther Anne Place; 11 Esther Anne Place is an entirely new build scheme; 17 Esther Anne Place has a retained Edwardian facade and new basement and upper floors, and finally, there are two residential dwellings on the site of the former Mitre Public House.

 

In addition to providing new homes, there will be 15793.5m² of retail and leisure facilities including shops, cafes, restaurants, and luxury lifestyle brands. Announced earlier this year, are three key anchor tenants including The Lounge by Odeon cinema, Third Space health club and Citadines providing serviced apartments. Islington Square has also witnessed high-demand, with approximately 66% of space either under offer or exchanged.
