Schroder Property appoints Head of European Multi-Manager (UK)

Schroder Property has appointed Rob Bingen as Head of European Property Multi-Manager. Bingen has over 15 years experience in continental European property investments having worked at ABP and PVF Pensioenen (now part of Foreign and Colonial) and will be based in the Amsterdam office.

Schroders started its property multi-manager business in 1997 and has since grown the business to over £1.6 billion (€2.2bn) of funds under management. Rob Bingen's appointment adds further to the depth and experience of the European team and demonstrates Schroders' continuing commitment to building a first class global property business.

Schroders closed its first Continental European Fund of Funds in June 2007 and has subsequently launched Continental European Fund II which is due to have its first closing in September. Rob will take over as the Fund Director on his arrival.
