Savills sells residential plot in Stockholm (SE)

International real estate adviser Savills has advised private real estate company Granen Fastighetsutveckling on the sale of land located at Brommaplan in Stockholm, Sweden. The plot has been acquired by Swedish construction company SSM Bygg och Fastighets AB for an undisclosed amount. The 15,500 m² plot, located in the western part of Stockholm, has been sold with planning permission for residential use. Upon development the seller estimates the site can accommodate an estimated 220 apartments.


Mattias Roos, CEO at SSM Bygg och Fastighets AB, says: “Brommaplan faces an interesting period ahead in terms of growth and development and this acquisition will allow us to build more homes for Stockholm residents who seek proximity to the vibrant city life.”



Johan Bernström, head of investment at Savills Sweden, adds: “There is strong demand for new homes in Stockholm and this strategically located plot is ideal for further housing development.”
