International real estate advisor Savills has opened a new office in Cologne with a five-strong team from BNP Paribas Real Estate as part of a wider growth strategy in Germany. The new team's focus is primarily on office and industrial lettings and they are based at Breite Strasse 1.
The Cologne office is headed by director Elmar Wirths, previously responsible for building up BNP PRE's North Rhine-Westphalia industrial team, supported by senior consultant Tim Odehnal on the industrial side. Office lettings are led by associate directors Simon Löseke and Danijel Dzerek with support from consultant Julian Turner and further recruitments are planned.
Bernd-Uwe Willer, Head of Savills Germany, says: "We are delighted to begin the year with the launch of another office in Germany. The team is well-established in the Cologne market and will continue to build up Savills market presence in the Rhein-Ruhr region. We are confident our clients will value the quality and professionalism of our new team."
