Savills has announced the expansion of its Belfast office with the joining of the team from Myles Danker to create a full suite of commercial property services including agency, professional services and property management.
Savills is already successful in NI working with the likes of Victoria Square, Rushmere Shopping Centre, Craigavon and The Quays, Newry. The larger team will have the capacity to deal with further emerging opportunities in the market, focusing on quality of service and value.
Angus Potterton, Managing Director of Savills Ireland, says: "The joining of the former Myles Danker team with the Savills Belfast team means that Savills is now strategically well positioned to cater for the broad needs of our client base across the island of Ireland; boosting the existing team and reflecting the structure of services that our Dublin headquarters provides."
Myles Danker Founding Director, Stuart Danker, will play a consultancy role and is joined by the team, including director Neal Morrison and associate Andrey McStraw.
The business unit, to trade under the Savills name, will see director Anne-Marie Lonergan continue to lead the team with particular focus on the agency side, Neal Morrison will be responsible for driving the professional services side and associate Louise Fuller will continue in her role of managing some of Northern Ireland's most high profile retail schemes, providing property management services.
Neal Morrison, Director of Savills, formerly of Myles Danker, adds: "The opportunity to work within the network of a global market leader is exciting and a testament to the success of Myles Danker. Our respective strengths complement each other and will allow both teams to provide an all-encompassing service offering to clients."
