RLI Investors has acquired a logistics property in one of the most sought-after commercial areas near Leipzig, Germany. The purchase, in an off-market transaction, is for the open-ended special real estate AIF "RLI Logistics Fund-Germany II". Completed this year, the property provides 13,000m² of lettable logistics accommodation. It is fully let on a long lease. Situated directly on the B6 federal road between Leipzig and Halle, the asset benefits from easy access to the A9 and A14 motorways, and Leipzig-Halle airport with the DHL airfreight hub and a freight centre. The purchase price was not disclosed.
