Richard Plummer becomes Non-Executive Chairman of Rockspring (UK)

Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP announces that Richard Plummer, Chairman and Founder, will relinquish his broader executive responsibilities to concentrate on certain funds, client accounts and projects in his new role as Non-Executive Chairman, with effect from July 01 2013.

Richard Plummer said: "After 40 years in the business I think it is now appropriate for me to step back from my executive responsibilities within Rockspring. I have worked closely with a number of Rockspring partners for more than 20 years and they, together with the rest of the partnership and other key executives who have built up a strong track record, are well placed to take the business forward from here. I am confident that they will continue to build on the remarkable progress of Rockspring, its staff and business activities and I greatly look forward to seeing the business thrive for many years to come. Needless to say, I will continue to assist in every way possible in my new position, particularly in respect of some key funds and client-related activity."

Robert Gilchrist, Chief Executive, who has worked with Richard since 1987, added: "Richard can be very proud of the business he has created and he has earned the right to take a step back from the day-to-day running of the company. We will continue to benefit from his extensive skills and experience as Fund Director to those funds and accounts most closely associated with him, and we will value his continuing contribution to Rockspring's Board."
