Reiss & Co and PEG Hamburg acquire Leder-Schuler complex in Hamburg (DE)
The Reiss & Co Group, acting in a joint venture with PEG-Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft Hamburg, acquired the Kontorhaus Leder-Schuler-Hofe at Heidenkampsweg 32 to 34 and Nordkanalstrasse 58, in the Hammerbrook district of Hamburg. The vendor of the property, which stands on a 3,800m² site, is a Hamburg family company. The parties have agreed to keep the sale price confidential. The complex is currently occupied by the Ambassador Hotel and various commercial tenants using the property as office space.

The building was constructed in traditional clinker brickwork in 1928 to plans by Fritz Hoger, who also designed the Chilehaus. The asset enjoys close proximity from the Berliner Tor U-Bahn and S-Bahn station, providing easy access to public transport. The Hammerbrook district has undergone continual positive development in recent years, including the construction of 1,500 new apartments and numerous hotels, as well as the relocation of Olympus European HQ.
