Reiss & Co acquires office building (DE)

Reiss & Co. Real Estate München GmbH (Reiss & Co.) has acquired an additional property in Stuttgart. The office building at Birkenwaldstrasse 149, in the north of Stuttgart, is fully let to a consultancy company until July 2017. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. Savills Immobilienberatungs-GmbH brokered the transaction.


The building, laid out on five storeys with a basement, dates from 1970. It has a lettable area of 2,070m² with 24 surface parking spaces.


Full refurbishment of the building, including the facades, is planned to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2017 and should be completed by the end of the year. "We are very keen to preserve the existing cityscape. We are therefore planning a lavish refurbishment of the building, which will provide very high quality office space", comments Oliver Reiss, Director of Reiss & Co., on the company's plans. The surroundings of the property are dominated by residential properties as well as by smaller retail and office units. The Killesberghöhe district centre is within a few minutes' walk. The property has good local public transport connections via underground line U5 and bus route 44.
