Realcomm Conference Group, LLC, a global leader in providing education, information and networking opportunities to the Commercial Real Estate industry, launches its inaugural European conference, "Realcomm Europe 2008" on February 18-19, 2008 at the Marriott Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in London.
This two-day event will bring together the real estate technology industry and the European business community to discuss global best practices and the use of technology in the industry.
"Realcomm believes that real estate and technology have an integrated relationship that will define a new process for designing, building, leasing, managing and using space," said Jim Young, Co-founder and CEO of Realcomm. "We recognized a unique and timely opportunity in the European community to provide a forum for industry leaders to collaborate and stay at the forefront of our rapidly evolving and increasingly worldwide industry."
The theme of this year's event will be REmagination - New Technology, New Ideas, New Times. "REmagination" combines new ideas and innovative solutions in real estate with imagination - to transform the industry into an efficient and visionary discipline. The conference will focus on best practices, both in general business solutions products and services as well as intelligent building automation technologies for the European market. Leading industry speakers will be featured in more than 15 educational sessions.
To help shape and develop the conference, Realcomm has formed the European 2008 Advisory Council comprised of some of the most influential and forward-thinking real estate IT executives in the region.
"The convergence of technology with real estate business processes and building management is happening and is evolving at an increasing rate. Commercial Real Estate IT professionals must be in command of these developments to ensure that they can exploit them to drive value enhancement and operational efficiency," said Peter Earl, group head of information systems of British Land Company. "Realcomm Europe 2008 represents the best opportunity in Europe to see exciting new business solutions and technologies in the Real Estate and IT sectors, and to meet with industry peers to debate the challenges in the increasingly global property industry."
