Rabobank announces the Executive Board of Rabo Bouwfonds Holding N.V. (NL)

The executive board of the Rabobank Group has approved the appointment of the Executive Board of Rabo Bouwfonds Holding N.V. The appointments will be made subject to approval by De Nederlandsche Bank and the recommendations of respective work council. The Management Board structure will be as follow: Tjalling Halbertsma, Chairman; Jos van Lange, CFRO; Henk van Zandvoort, Area Development; Jean Klijnen, Asset Management and Peter Keur, Real Estate Financing.

The Rabobank Group is expected to finalise the acquisition of the shares in ABN AMRO Bouwfonds N.V. (closing) on or around December 1, 2006.

Henk Rutgers will resign from his position as CEO of Bouwfonds and depart from the organisation on December 1. Under the six years of his leadership, Bouwfonds has grown to become a leading European real estate company. Bouwfonds CFO, Pieter Van der Harst will also step down on December 1. Rutgers and Van der Harst will remain available for a period of time, due to transfers of activities. Pieter Wetsellar will continue to serve as managing director responsible of Rabo Vastgoed B.V.
