ProLogis signs three new agreements in the Netherlands and Poland (NL/PL)

ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, has announced that it has signed third-quarter lease agreements in previously unleased space totaling approximately 41,700 m² with three customers in Europe.

"Our customers in Europe remain focused on improving supply chain efficiencies, which drives the demand for functional, modern distribution space," said Philip Dunne, ProLogis President of Europe.

"We are very pleased to announce these new lease agreements in recently developed distribution centers, and are encouraged by the continued signs of stabilization and improvement in the industrial real estate market."

Recent activity included leases with:

  • A global logistics and freight services company, which will occupy 25,400 m² at ProLogis Park Venlo Building Three. The building is located in the city of Venlo, the Netherlands, near the intersection of the A67 and A73 Motorways that connect Rotterdam to Dusseldorf and Arnhem/Nijmegen to Maastricht.
  • ArchiDoc, a leader in document management outsourcing solutions. The company will occupy 11,800 m² at ProLogis Park Chorzow Building Eight, located in Chorzow, Poland, near the A4 Motorway that connects Germany with the Ukraine.
  • Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska, a third-party logistics provider. One of ProLogis' longstanding customers, the company will occupy 5,800 m² at ProLogis Park Chorzow Building Nine.
