Prologis signs 334,000 ft² (31,000 m²) built-to-suit agreement in the Czech Republic (CZ)

Prologis, the global leader in industrial real estate, announced it has signed a 334,000 ft² (31,000 m²) build-to-suit agreement at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny with Mall.cz, a regional online consumer goods and electronics store.
"Our decision to move to a new distribution center was based on driving profitability and serving our customers in a timely manner," said Oldrich Petranek, International Operations Director, Mall.cz. "We needed a prime location and highly advanced distribution space. Prologis Park Prague-Jirny offers both."
"We are delighted to welcome Mall.cz to Prologis Park Prague-Jirny," said Ben Bannatyne, managing director, Prologis Central and Eastern Europe. "This agreement reflects ongoing demand from e-commerce customers for Class-A logistics facilities."
Prologis Park Prague-Jirny is 97% leased. It comprises 2.3 million ft² (213,000 m²) with build-out potential for an additional 1.3 million ft² (120,000 m²).
Prologis owns and manages a portfolio of more than 44 million ft² (4.1 million m²) of logistics and distribution space in Central and Eastern Europe as of September 30, 2014.
