Prologis, Inc. today announced that in the second quarter of 2013, it signed a 10-year leasing agreement with Dirks Group covering 15,400 m² at Prologis Park Gernsheim near Frankfurt in Germany.
Dirks Group will use the facility, which comprises 14,050 m² of distribution space and 1,350 m² of office space, to perform strategic services on behalf of its customer. With this agreement Prologis Park Gernsheim is now fully leased.
“We are very satisfied with the agreement,” said Bernhard Doesken, member of the executive board at Dirks Group. “Gernsheim is a very interesting logistics location between Frankfurt and Mannheim, and Prologis has proven to be very flexible in fulfilling our needs and implementing our specifications.”

Prologis Park Gernsheim benefits from being close to the urban areas of Frankfurt am Main and Mannheim/Ludwigshafen, the A 67 and A 5 motorways, and only two km away from Gernsheim harbor, an increasingly important tri-modal transportation network which combines rail, road and water routes.
