Prologis acquires 56,000 m² in the Netherlands (NL)

Prologis, Inc., the global leader in industrial real estate, today announced that Prologis Targeted Europe Logistics Fund (“PTELF”) has purchased a 56,000 m² logistics facility in Moerdijk in the Netherlands.
Prologis is already the owner of four modern distribution centers in Moerdijk, and this purchase brings the gross floor area owned by the company to more than 150,000 m².
“This acquisition boosted our plans to strengthen our position in logistics hotspots,” said Bram Verhoeven, country manager, Prologis Benelux. “Moerdijk is a multi-modal hub and is in an extremely convenient location. The acquisition also allows us to continue to facilitate our clients’ growth in the longer term.”

Prologis is the leading provider of industrial real estate in the Benelux, with approximately 1.6 mln of logistics and distribution space as of March 31, 2015.
