Pret A Manger sold to private equity firm JAB

JAB has unveiled its plans for the acquisition of Pret A Manger from Bridgepoint. The transaction is expected to be completed during summer 2018. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 

Pret maintains a strong presence in the U.K. and boasts a rapidly growing international footprint with a presence in the United States, Hong Kong/China and France. The company operates 530 stores worldwide, generating group revenues of €1bn (£879m).
