Peter Ulm to leave partnership at AKRON Group (AT)

AKRON GROUP has announced that Peter Ulm is to step down as partner and executive board member of AKRON GROUP on 30 April 2008. Ulm will remain in the real estate sector and cooperate in the future with AKRON GROUP on specific projects.

"After four and a half years of successful and exciting work as a partner of AKRON GROUP, today one of the leading real estate companies in Central and Eastern Europe, I decided to explore new entrepreneurial opportunities and set up my own business," says Peter Ulm.

"Much to our regret we see Peter Ulm leaving the company. He has made an important contribution to the success of AKRON GROUP during the last few years. We wish him all the best for his future professional activities," says J. Christian Thalhammer, CEO and company founder of AKRON GROUP.

As of 1 April 2008, the management board of the newly founded AKRON Management West (AMW) is to lead AKRON real estate business in Western Europe. Rodney Zimmerman, an experienced international investment manager, is to assume the role of the general manager of AMW. Zimmerman currently heads the real estate investment division of the Doctor's Pension Fund in the Netherlands. An international real estate expert has also been secured to fill the post of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

"Now the AKRON GROUP is perfectly positioned to continue its organic growth in Western Europe", says J. Christian Thalhammer. Thalhammer represents the Vienna-based strategic holding, AKRON Management Holding, and is responsible for commercial business development in Western Europe at present.
