Central European investment group Penta has secured 113 million refinancing for its office project Digital Park in Bratislava, Slovakia. The loan will be used to refinance existing loans for the construction of Digital Park I and II and finance the new building - Digital Park III. The loan was drawn at the beginning of February this year.

"We are pleased that a club of five banks expressed their confidence in us and our project," said Jozef Oravkin, partner responsible for the real estate division in Penta. The loan is granted by club of five banks: VUB, Slovenská sporiteľňa, CSOB, Tatra banka and HYPO NOE Group, managed by VUB.
Penta has invested 139 million in development of the entire Digital Park. The project offers 74,000 m² of rentable office and retail space. The largest tenants in the project are companies such as Deloitte, Lenovo, Dalkia, Zuno, OMV, Bayer, First Data, Prima banka and KIA Motor Sales Slovakia.
The third phase of Digital Park has been recently awarded as the Best Office Development under the CiJ Awards 2012. This follows the Duan Jurkovič award dedicated for the second phase of the project for the overall design features of the project and Best Office Development under the CiJ Awards 2009. The architectural concept of Digital Park was designed by Cigler Marani Architects studio in Prague.
