Panattoni Europe, the logistics real estate developer and investor, is commencing three new logistics project developments with a total space of more than 50,000m² in top sought-after commercial locations in Germany.

The largest project is already under construction in Erlensee. The new Panattoni Park Frankfurt Ost is a speculative development with a site area of 50,000m² and 30,280m² of hall space. Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2017.  A lease agreement has already been concluded with Dachser for partial lease of 8,600m² of warehouse space and 1,033m² of office space. The is the third lease contract that the project developer has concluded with the logistics provider Dachser in the last 18 months. Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe, comments, “The first lease confirms the quality of the location and the logistics park. The facility offers flexible utilisation for different branches and many versatile logistics concepts.” The property agents Immolox and JLL are in charge of leasing management.

Parallel to this, Panattoni Europe has been awarded contracts to develop two build-to-suit facilities. Construction will start on both projects at the end of this year. Completion is planned for the second quarter in 2017. A logistics facility of 12,300m² is being developed on a site of 20,000m² in Alsdorf, near Aachen, for Quip AG, a service provider for personnel, production and technology. The project was brokered by Logivest. “The new facility creates the conditions we need to be able to react even more flexibly to the wishes of our customers. The location and connections, as well as size and equipment fulfil our requirements exactly,” explains Karl-Heinz Guth, Chairman of Quip AG. The second BTS project is being constructed for the door manufacturer Noblesse in Hagenbach near Karlsruhe. The specialist retailer is leasing approximately 9,000m² of hall space on a site of 15,000m². Panattoni Europe is convinced that this logistics site benefits from its excellent location, good connections and in particular from its proximity to the Daimler plant in Wörth. The facility has many potential uses, offering ideal conditions for cross-sector marketing in future.

Bulwiengesa’s latest “Logistics and Real Estate 2016” study, published last week, shows that Panattoni Europe has jumped to second place in the ranking of top project developers in Germany. Panattoni Europe is continuing to pursue its growth course, creating more usable area in commercial locations in Germany. During the last few days, the company has signed contracts for three more project developments with a total area of 100,000m².
