On September 28, 2009, OVG Real Estate delivered a new office development in Teleport Amsterdam to KPN (tenant) and SEB Asset Management (investor). The office building is approximately 23,000 m² of lettable area and 190 covered parking spaces. The construction of the property including the tenant fit out was completed within 18 months.
The office building is located in the centre of the Teleport office park next to the Intercity main line railway station of Sloterdijk. The construction of the property including fit out was made by Multiplan. OVG is pleased with the cooperation with Multiplan in concluding the construction within the agreed plan.
The architect for the property is De Jong Gortemaker Algra. The property is designed around an internal garden which is used as the heart of the property. On various floors the office benefits various winter gardens. The facade comprises glass providing a transparent design. Further the property benefits from a heat and cold underground storage system operated by Eneco, which saves energy, adding to the sustainability of the property, a strategy which OVG is well known for.
