Orchard Street, the specialist commercial property investment manager, has successfully secured three new tenants at Cardiff Bay Retail Park.

Home Bargains and Iceland trading, as Food Warehouse, have agreed new 15 year and 10 year leases respectively, with no breaks, on space that was previously occupied by the former BHS. The 33,000 ft² unit is being subdivided and refurbished prior to the lettings. They join other new tenant, Wilkos, the homewares and appliances store, which has taken the former Brantano unit on a new 10 year lease.

Home to Europe’s largest waterfront development and seat of the Welsh Assembly, the area is a dynamic commercial hub with a significant residential population. Existing tenants of the retail park include Argos, Boots, Sports Direct and Costa, among others. Following these recent lettings the retail park is now 100% let.

Anna Bradford, Asset Manager at Orchard Street, commented: “These are really strong lettings to great retailers with strong covenants, which we expect will also attract additional foot fall to the park.”
