'Orange portfolio' sold for €50 million (NL)

EPI Orange (Netherlands) S.A.R.L., the Dutch real-estate portfolio frequently referred to as the 'Orange portfolio,' has been sold for gross disposal proceeds of €50 million.

This breakthrough transaction was definitively signed in mid-February and was the first portfolio of assets sold in Europe as a result of a CMBS work-out.

The portfolio consists of 23 office and light industrial properties with a total floor area of approximately 112,000 m². The assets are located throughout the Netherlands.

Capita as Special Servicer for the loan, working consensually with the borrower, has sold the portfolio to an undisclosed buyer.

Cushman & Wakefield, Dewey & LeBeouf LLP and Loyens & Loeff acted for the Special Servicer on this transaction.
