Ogmios hands over 21,000-m² logistics warehouse and office building in Vilnius (LT)

Ogmios has handed over a 21,000-m² logistics warehouse and office building in Vilija Park (Vilnius) to Eugesta, one of the biggest companies in the Baltic States with actively operating companies in each of the countries, engaged in wholesale, distribution of food, beverages (including alcohol), as well as other fast moving consumer goods and logistics services.

Eugesta owns a 12,000-m² logistic and distribution center in the neighborhood of Vilnius International Airport and rents a 5,000-m² warehouse in Via Baltic Logistic Centre (Kaunas), also developed by Ogmios Group. The company has decided to expand and concentrate its activities in Vilija Park, which has a premium location near the highways Vilnius–Warsaw, and Vilnius–Kaunas, with convenient public transport access for employees and beautiful natural surroundings.

Baltic Express, the previous Vilija Park anchor tenant and development partner, rented the above-mentioned distribution center in Vilnius, close to the airport. This solution was more suitable to their future business plans.

Povilas Janulevièius, Chief Project Manager of Vilija, expressed particular gratitude to the general contractor Lakaja from Molëtai for outstanding professional skills, quality, inexpensive construction, and additional remodeling done for the new tenant as well as for meeting the deadline and managing with the allocated Unicredit Bank financing. He added that Eugesta is likely to be one of the most reliable Ogmios tenants along with Avon, DHL and others.

All parties are appreciative of the Unicredit Bank for flexibility in continuing project financing and understanding of real estate market needs.

Vitalis Paðkevièius, Director of Commerce for Eugesta, stated that now is the best time to expand the company's market through competitive rent and convenient service with a delivery of high quality premises. "We are glad we found the common solution with Ogmios that meets our company's needs to expand," he said.

Gintaras Maþelis, Director of AS 'UniCredit Bank' Lithuania Branch mentioned that UniCredit Bank aims to be involved in innovative and perspective projects. Moreover, we highly gauge cooperation with Ogmios Group which is based on mutual reliance between two professional, mighty and trustworthy partners.
