A scale model of the biggest shopping and leisure center in the largest country in Europe will be shown at MAPIC 2010 next month. Construction of Ocean Plaza mall (131,000 m² GLA) is progressing at full speed in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev.

Once open in 2012, Ocean Plaza will be the largest shopping center in Ukraine.
Ocean Plaza is located in the central business district close to the main Kiev transport hub Lybidskaya Subway St. It will open in 2012 right before the beginning of the European Football Championship which will hold preliminary, playoffs and final games in Kiev.
The world premiere of the project will take place at MAPIC 2010 from November 16-19, in Cannes, France. Stand number R36.09, Riviera Hall.
Project development is being carried out by the leading Ukrainian company KAN Development (www.kandevelopment.com). Consultant and exclusive leasing agent is the largest Ukrainian consulting company UTG (www.utg.kiev.ua). The design and architecture of future project has been developed by Chapman Taylor Bureau. The total investment in the project is approx. US $150 million.
Two anchor stores for the mall have already been secured, namely the German hypermarket chain REAL and Kino Planet IMAX 3D company, which is the exclusive representative of IMAX technology in Ukraine.
