Niam appoints Kjell Sagstad as CIO to its Acquisitions team (SE/NO)

Niam has recruited Kjell Sagstad to its Acquisitions team as Chief Investment Officer. He will be based in Oslo, and be part of Niam's investment council. Sagstad was formerly CEO of Norgani, a quoted Norwegian hotel property company.

Kjell Sagstad will start working at Niam on September 1st.

Other changes to the Niam team
Earlier this summer, Fredrik Jonsson has been appointed as Chief Investment Officer and Anders Lundquist has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer.

Jennifer Andersson has moved from Stronghold to become Head of Investor Relations & Business Development and has replaced Johan Eliasson. Prior to joining Niam, Andersson worked as a manager in corporate development for Sappi Fine Paper North America and has a background in investment banking in Goldman Sachs Mergers and Strategic Advisory Group in New York.

Cecilia Gardner Larsson has been promoted to Head of Property Management at Newsec Asset Management and therefore will leave her position as Investment Manager at Niam. She will be responsible for the management of Niam's properties and be a member of Newsec Asset Management's management group.

Niam has recruited two new analysts. Per Kessling will start working as an analyst in Niam's Investment Management team on September 1st. Prior to joining Niam, he was working as an analyst at CB Richard Ellis. Henrik Gerdin has been hired as an analyst in Niam's Acquisitions team. Prior to joining Niam, he was an analyst in Hypo Real Estate's team for Structured Finance & Investment Banking in London. Henrik Gerdin will start working at Niam on September 10th.
