Niam acquires Strömpilen 1 shopping center in Sweden for €39 mln (SE)

Niam has signed an agreement to acquire the retail property Strömpilen 1 from Citycon AB. The property comprises a total of ca. 27,000 m² and is located 5 kilometres outside of Umeå. The property has a diverse group of tenants, including ICA Maxi, Systembolaget and Apotek Hjärtat.
Johan Bergman, CEO, says, “This was an opportunity for Niam to acquire a retail property with development potential in Northern Sweden’s fastest growing city. The property is a good complement to the retail properties Niam has previously acquired in Sweden.”
The transaction amounts to about €39 mln.
