New tenant at PNK-Chekhov (RU)

The PNK-Chekhov warehouse complex has a new tenant. The space has been taken on by MONEKS TRADING, which signed a long-term lease for warehouse space in the second phase of the complex.

The deal for 12,029 m² with an expansion of up to 24,352 m² in a separate building was concluded at end of December 2010. Cushman & Wakefield advised the landlord.

MONEKS TRADING works on the franchising system and specialises in developing retail shops for world-famous brand names such as Mothercare, Next, Claire's, M·A·C, The Body Shop, Justice, and Payless Shoes. The company is owned by Alshaya Group, the largest retailer in the Middle East. MONEKS TRADING plans to commence operations at the new warehouse in April 2011.

The PNK-Chekhov class-A warehouse complex with a total area of 397,788 m² is located in the Chekhov district of the Moscow region. Other tenants include M.Video, Eldorado, X5 Retail Group, Uhrenholt, Panasonic, and Mitsui&Co.

PNK Group – the project developer – is a dynamically growing, full-range development company and one of the leaders on the Russian class-A industrial premises market. For the period 2003 to December 2010, the company realized seven projects on the industrial and warehouse real estate markets, with a total area of more than 525,000 m² of production and office-warehouse space. At present the total area of all the company's projects amounts to more than 1.3 million m², in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk.

"The PNK Group team has once again demonstrated its professionalism in working with a client's requirements. On the whole, the success of the PNK-Chekhov warehouse complex, which is currently 90% rented, can be properly attributed not only to the complex's high quality characteristics both in terms of location and facilities, but also to the team's professional approach to questions and requirements from potential tenants," says Elena Bushmina, Senior Consultant, Warehouse and Industrial Department at Cushman & Wakefield.
