New promotions of Polish management at Skanska (PL)

Waldemar Olbryk was appointed President of Skanska Property Poland as of September 23, 2011. Olbryk is the first Polish-native President of Skanska Property Poland. He succeeds Nicklas Lindberg, who was appointed President for Skanska Commercial Development Europe (CDE), business unit developing properties in Central and Eastern Europe.

Olbryk joined Skanska in August 2008. As Regional Director, he developed a solid team which supported the investments of Skanska Property Poland in the South. Prior to joining Skanska, Olbryk worked as Real Estate Project Manager in Philips.

Olbryk is also experienced in retail project development. He worked for the fuel company BP Poland and for the French developer Apsys on the Manufaktura project – one of the biggest leisure and commercial centers in Europe. Olbryk obtained a degree in economic studies at the University of Lodz, as well as a joint MBA degree at the University of Lodz and College of Maryland. He also holds the title of Professional Project Manager awarded by the Project Management Institute.

Grzegorz Strutynski, until recently Regional Director at Skanska Property Poland, has been appointed President of Skanska Property Hungary.

Strutynski took over after Andreas Lindelöf and is responsible for managing the company and projects carried out in Hungary. Before joining Skanska Property Poland, Strutynski gained experience at Colliers International Poland, and then at GE Capital Golub Europe. He was responsible for leasing and marketing process of prestigious A-class office buildings, such as Warsaw Financial Center, Warsaw Corporate Center and International Business Center. Strutynski graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Radom.

Katarzyna Zawodna assumed the position of Regional Director at Skanska Property Poland, succeeding Grzegorz Strutynski. She is now responsible for the strategy and development of office investments in Warsaw, Poznan and the Tricity. Zawodna is also coordinating the work of project and property management teams.

Prior to this she held the position of Green Business Manager, with an international title of LEED Accredited Professional. Her main responsibility was implementation of sustainable solutions in office projects developed by Skanska Property Poland. Zawodna graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Marcin Lapinski was appointed Regional Director at Skanska Property Poland. Lapinski, who succeeds Waldemar Olbryk, is now responsible for the strategy and development of new investments in Lodz, Wroclaw, Krakow and Katowice. In his previous role as Leasing Director Lapinski was responsible for the commercialization of all Skanska's office projects on the Polish market.

Prior to joining Skanska, he worked in Colliers International in tenant representation department. He holds CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) title. Lapinski graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics.
