New commercial-residential project for central Ljubljana (SI)

Energocommerc E.C. is planning to start construction of a commercial-residential building in central Ljubljana. The building, which will be called 'Ellipse' because of its elliptical shape, will comprise a ground floor plus six additional floors and three underground floors for parking.

Ellipse will contain 25 flats and two penthouse flats over 4,562 m².

The building is part of a larger urban planning scheme for this area, which will see three new Academies of Slovenia and the Ministry of Culture built next to Ellipse. The new headquarters for the city's mayor will also be close by. This area is evolving rapidly because of its central location and good road links.

Ellipse will contain 25 flats and two penthouse flats over 4,562 m². All flats will be built according to high standard, with a balcony or terrace for each flat. There are restaurants, a school, shopping centers, hospitals, and a public market just a five-minute walk from Ellipse. Approx. 1,200 m² of office space is planned for the north part of the building.

Damjan Planic from Energocommerc E.C. said: "The market in Ljubljana is ripe for development and we have secured a key site in the center of the city for this new project. Before we start work on Ellipse however, we are looking for an investor or joint venture partner who would be interested to step into the project with us."
