Neinver, the Spanish based specialists in investment, development and management of property assets—the second-largest operator of outlet centres in Europe and the largest in Spain and Poland— recorded positive results in 2016 for both sales and footfall at the outlet centres it manages in six European countries.

The portfolio of outlet centers, most of which operate under the brand name The Style Outlets or FACTORY, registered total sales of €1.18 bn, a nearly 10% increase on a like-for-like basis, compared to the same period of 2015. Footfall rose by 8%, exceeding 50.2 million visitors. Global occupancy rate reached 96%, which reflects the good management of the centres.

2016 was marked by the opening of the first outlet centre in Greater Barcelona - Viladecans The Style Outlets; the joint-venture with The Prague Outlet, bringing Neinver into the Czech market and the addition of Halle Leipzig - The Style Outlets to the portfolio.

“The solid results seen in all countries vouch for the success of our management model, which relies on specialised asset management skills, clear and well executed retail strategies and accurate market knowledge. Neinver will keep working towards continued growth alongside the brands that operate in our centres, strengthening our position as a leading manager of outlet centres in Europe,” said Carlos González, Managing Director of Neinver.
