The first phase of 76,000 m² GLA, opened April 1 in the middle of the Schlossstrasse, one of the most important shopping streets in Berlin.
The sole tenant of the first phase, with about 24,000 m² gross leasable area, is a Karstadt store - with a new store-design - together with LeBuffet and PERFETTO. This is the most modern Karstadt store in Germany.
The second phase, which is intended to make Boulevard Berlin one of the most integrated inner-city shopping centres in Germany is designed to offer four layers of retail, gastronomy and services. The investment value is ca. 450 million. The opening of the whole project is planned for autumn 2011.
