Gawein Minks, a senior developer in Multi's Gouda, headquarters for the last five years will, from March 1, 2011, be based permanently in Kiev.
Minks has been increasingly focusing on the Ukraine market since mid-November and more since the departure of his predecessor at the end of last year.
Minks has a doctorate in economics (speciality in Property finance) from the University of Groningen and before joining Multi built City Box, and subsequently as COO was part of the successful buy-out team.
Ronald Dasbach, Executive board member of Multi Corporation and director in charge of C&E Europe said: "I am very pleased that such a qualified colleague is coming to the Ukraine which we have identified as a key growth market."
Minks said: "My first priority is to finalise the financing of our exciting first project in Lviv, Forum Lviv, and to ensure a really attractive retail-mix. Strong interest has been shown by international retailers and by many currently in the area who want to be in the prime city-center location. We have a number of other projects in development across Ukraine that are also attracting significant interest from international retailers so this is a perfect time to be moving to Multi Ukraine."
