Montagu Evans strengthens its residential team (UK)

Montagu Evans today announced three senior appointments to build and grow their residential team with the employment of Russell Taylor, Graham Priddle and Thomas Mudd. The Firm now have 27 professionals currently working in the residential market bringing a combination of expertise in planning valuation, capital markets and development consultancy. This combined with recently being selected for various frameworks (including Royal Mail, National Grid, Estates Professional Services frameworks) signals the intent of Montagu Evans to become a key provider of residential solutions for clients.


Russell Taylor has joined the Firm to replace Adrian Owen as Head of Residential and will oversee the expansion of the Residential business. Russell was formerly at Savills for over 20 years, DTZ and then Sotheby’s Realty. He is widely acknowledged as an industry expert handling Residential mixed-use developments, consultancy and investment and has worked numerous high-profile projects in the country including Chelsea Barracks, Grosvenor Waterside, Pan Peninsula Canary Wharf and the Olympic Village.


Leading affordable housing specialists Graham Priddle and Thomas Mudd, both of whom most recently were at Jones Lang LaSalle, bring a wealth of experience to the existing expertise of the team headed by Jo Fone, Partner at the Firm. They will be concentrating on development consultancy, viability modeling and stock rationalization for Registered Providers, Funders and private developers. Graham and Thomas have worked on key projects including providing development consultancy services and acquisition advice for Oxford City Council for over 400 affordable units at their large strategic site at Barton, providing planning viability advice on a proposed Urban Extentsion for 5,000 homes at Houghton Regis and providing advice and disposing, through stock rationalization, of over £30 million of tenant social housing for Housing 21.
