Metro Asset Group and NAI Pickard joint venture in property management in Ukraine (UA)

Two of the most respected property management companies in Ukraine are joining forces – NAI Pickard (NAIP) and METRO Group Asset Management Ukraine LLC (MAM) are forming a new joint venture to be called the Property Management Group. The new company will combine the proven facility management skills of MAM with the long term experience of one of the leading full service property consultancies of NAIP. A combination that will bring a new level of proven property management skills in Ukraine to the Ukrainian property market.

"We already manage 23 METRO Cash&Carry stores, soon to be followed by our Real and Media brand, around Ukraine so we have the proven expertise in total facilities management," said Christian Lange, MD of METRO Group Asset Management Ukraine LLC. "Add to this the leasing, tenant management, marketing and western standard financial operations of NAI Pickard and you have the best possible skill mix," continued Terry Pickard, the Group Chairman of the Pickard Group.

The companies have already entered into a cooperation agreement and now are in the process of setting up a new business entity. The partners are already negotiating with several shopping malls and business centres around the country to take on the total property management. The combined professionalism, knowledge and expertise of the two companies means The Property Management Group can offer shopping malls and business centres a very secure property service of western standard.
