Meridia Capital acquires Hesperia Barcelona del Mar hotel (ES)

Meridia Capital Partners has acquired Hesperia Barcelona del Mar, a 4-star hotel located in Barcelona’s seafront area, within the 22@ district. The asset, built in 2002, has 84 rooms (including 6 suites) split across c.5,800m². It features 350m² of meeting space, a restaurant and bar area as well as private parking with 28 spaces. The purchase price was not disclosed.

 

This investment represents the fourth acquisition carried out by Meridia IV, the latest real estate vehicle launched by the alternative investment manager. The Fund has closed another three investments: an office building in Madrid’s MadBit district, a 4-building office portfolio and a recent deal on the alternative hospitality space. Meridia IV, with a clear focus on value-add commercial real estate in Madrid and Barcelona, has an investment capacity of over €600m.
