McArthurGlen appoints Brian Collie Non-Executive Director (UK)

McArthurGlen announced the appointment of Brian Collie as a non-executive director. Mr Collie, former main board member and retail director of BAA plc and chairman of Lastminute.com plc is credited with transforming BAA into the words leading airport retailer with global sales of more than 3 billion. He also established World Duty Free, BAAs international duty-free company.

He joins McArthurGlen, Europes leading developer of designer outlet villages, as the company opens its 15th outlet (near Florence, Italy) and embarks on an ambitious phase of expansion.

This is Mr Collies second appointment to the McArthurGlen board. He was a director of the company from 1997 to 2002 when BAA and McArthurGlen had a joint venture.
