The M&M's World store is due to open in summer 2011.

The privately owned development, investment and construction firm achieved a UK first when it pre-let the building to Starwood Hotels & Resorts for its prestigious W London-Leicester Square. It then followed this up by announcing a European first when it announced that Mars Retail Group had let the entire 35,000 ft² (3,250 m²) remaining commercial space for an M&M's World store.

A spokesman for McAleer & Rushe said: "Over recent months we have had numerous direct approaches from parties interested in buying the building. In light of the current strong demand for prime London property we have appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to conduct a review of our best possible strategy. But our current priority is to ensure the successful completion of this prestigious flagship project on time and on budget."
