LEED Gold for the Green Horizon office project developed by Skanska Property Poland in Lodz (PL)

Green Horizon is a class-A office complex built in compliance with the principles of sustainable development. It will be the first office building in Lodz with a LEED certificate.

The Green Horizon office complex will have a total leasable area of 33,000 m².



Skanska Property Poland, developer of the investment, has received the LEED Gold precertification for Green Horizon. Owing to green, innovative solutions which ensure energy consumption at the level of 25% less than specified by local regulations, Green Horizon will also be a candidate for the EU GreenBuilding certificate.

The Green Horizon office complex will comprise two buildings with a total leasable area of 33,000 m² (phase I – 19,000 m² and phase II – 14,000 m²). The construction of the first phase of the project began in the second quarter of 2011 and its completion is planned for the fourth quarter of 2012.

Lease agreements have been signed so far by Infosys BPO Poland and Skanska S.A. Construction works in phase II will start as soon as a pre-lease contract has been signed.

Green Horizon is the first commercial project developed by Skanska Property Poland in Lodz.
