Under a global property mandate, LaSalle Investment Management has acquired a logistics property in North America on behalf of Bayerische Ärzteversorgung (BÄV - Bavarian doctors’ pension fund), one of the twelve pension institutions of BVK (the Bavarian umbrella pension scheme for self-employed professionals - including doctors, lawyers and architects).
The property is located in the greater Chicago area and has a total rentable floor space of c 80.000 m². The property was completed in early 2014 and has been let on a long-term basis. The purchase price was c. €38M. The property was sold by Pizzuti Development Company.
