The property company Kungsleden AB (publ) acquires Umeå police station, Umeå Stigbygeln 5, from Umeå Kommunföretag/AB Bostaden i Umeå for approximately €18 million (MSEK 185). The yield based on the purchase price is calculated at 7,4%. The lettable area amounts to 15 500 m² with a rental value of approximately €1,9 million (MSEK 19) and tenants are various authorities within the legal system. Possession changes hands on 1 September 2006.
Furthermore Kungsleden acquires the property Norrköping Tråden 11 for approximately €9 million (MSEK 89,4) from Mattsons Fastighetsutveckling AB. Total floor-space is about 20 000 m² with a rental value of approximately €1 million (MSEK 10). The yield based on the sales price is calculated at 7 %.
Kungsleden will take possession of the properties on 29 June 2006.
