KanAm Grund Group acquires the Europahaus property in Wiesbaden (DE)

KanAm Grund Group has purchased the Europahaus property in Wiesbaden for institutional investors. The entire office space of the three-part property is let to the German state of Hesse under a long-term lease until 2032. The tenancy agreements for the five retail premises and a restaurant on the ground floor of the property at the corner of Walter-Hallstein- and Schiersteinenstrasse/Konrad-Adenauer-Ring are for shorter terms.

Europahaus is located in the Europaviertel, which is home to a high density of public administration buildings and residential properties. The complex enjoys easy access to public transport. The property features 25 outdoor parking spaces and an underground parking area with 139 spaces within the building complex. The first building, containing three upper levels and one lower level, was originally built in 1920 and refurbished in 1997 when the two newer parts of the property were built. The two new buildings comprise four upper and two lower levels and house the underground parking area. Most recent refurbishing touches were added in 2017.

It has been agreed to keep the sales price confidential. The property was sold by a Danish private investor, represented by the law firm Groenewold Tiedemann Griffel, and the company's Asset Manager, Vista Venture AG, Berlin
