Jörn Stobbe appointed new Chair of RICS Europe (EU)

RICS has appointed Jörn Stobbe FRICS as new Chair of the RICS Europe World Regional Board. Jörn took up his role at the Board meeting on October 24, 2013 for a three-year period.


Jörn Stobbe is a member of the management board of Rreef Management, Frankfurt am Main, one of the world’s largest real estate investment businesses. In September 2013, he was appointed Managing Director for Asset Management and Transactions for the German-speaking area in the Executive Committee of the German Asset & Wealth Management for real-estate fund business.


His experience includes 10 years as Partner in the law firm Clifford Chance, along with a number of senior positions as Chairman of RICS in Germany and member of the Board of the ICG Initiative Corporate Governance of the German real estate industry.


Jörn replaces Robert Mayhew FRICS, global Vice-President of RICS and Executive Director within Colliers International’s business in Russia, responsible for the Valuation and Consulting teams across the entire country. RICS Europe thanks Robert for his outstanding service and huge commitment during the past 12 months as Interim Chair RICS Europe.
