Jones Lang LaSalle strengthens UK and Central & Eastern Europe leadership teams (EU)

Jones Lang LaSalle today announced three new appointments to its UK Board and a new managing director for its business in Poland. John Duckworth, Andrew Renshaw and Andrew Frost will join the UK Board alongside the existing membership of Guy Grainger (UK chief executive), Chris Ireland (UK chairman), Mark Stupples (chief operating officer), Richard Howling (chief financial officer), Philip Marsden and Neil Prime. Tomasz Trzoslo succeeds John Duckworth as managing director for Poland. The changes will all take effect from 1 April 2013.

John Duckworth will be relocating to London after more than four years based in Warsaw as head of Poland and the firm's broader Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) business. Under his leadership, the scale of Jones Lang LaSalle's CEE operations has increased substantially, further boosted by the merger with King Sturge in 2011. The firm now has offices in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and Croatia, employing a total of more than 350 people.

On joining the UK Board, John Duckworth will take oversight for the UK Project & Development Services, Corporate Solutions and Tetris business lines. Andrew Renshaw, lead director for the UK Valuation business, will now additionally take oversight for the Planning, Rating, Upstream Sustainability Services and Healthcare teams. Andrew Frost, as lead director for the firm's Residential business in the UK, is overseeing one of Jones Lang LaSalle's fastest growing business lines with strong and growing international investment flows.

Tomasz Trzoslo, presently head of Capital Markets for CEE, will become the new managing director for Poland. Having played a prominent role in building Jones Lang LaSalle's market-leading investment business across CEE for the past 15 years, including the last five years as Head of Capital Markets, he will continue to lead the firm's Capital Markets business in Poland alongside his new wider remit as managing director. All Jones Lang LaSalle's CEE businesses will report direct to Richard Batten on the firm's EMEA Management Board with effect from 1 April 2013.

Christian Ulbrich, Jones Lang LaSalle's EMEA CEO, said: "Building on strong foundations, John Duckworth has driven the expansion of our presence and our service offering throughout Central and Eastern Europe, a vitally important marketplace for so many of our clients. I am delighted that Tomasz Trzoslo will now step up to lead our Polish business. Tomasz is very well known in CEE real estate markets and will also continue in his existing role as our head of CEE Capital Markets."

Guy Grainger, UK chief executive, said: "John Duckworth, Andrew Renshaw and Andrew Frost will each bring extensive experience and valuable new insights to our UK Board, complementing our existing strengths. We are excited by the enhanced platform this gives us to grow our UK business across all business lines and to further deepen our connections with our domestic and international client base and with Jones Lang LaSalle's offices around the world."
