Jones Lang LaSalle reshapes Netherlands leadership team (NL)

Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that Eric de Clercq Zubli is stepping down as CEO for the Netherlands after six years in the role. Vincent Querton is to take executive leadership of its business in the Netherlands, in addition to his ongoing role as Managing Director for Belgium & Luxembourg. Eric de Clercq Zubli, who has been responsible for overseeing the growth of the Dutch business since 2006, now wants to pursue other challenges.

"We are grateful to Eric for his leadership and overall successful contribution to Jones Lang LaSalle in the Netherlands. We have a strong platform across the Netherlands and a great opportunity to take that business on to the next level, under the proven leadership of Vincent Querton who has built an impressive business across Belgium and Luxembourg," said Christian Ulbrich, Jones Lang LaSalle's EMEA CEO.

Eric De Clercq Zubli will leave the company after 26 years, having joined in 1986 and subsequently played an influential role in many of the highest profile investment transactions in Dutch real estate capital markets, neatly concluding with last month's largest ever single asset deal in the Netherlands, the €425 million High Tech Campus Eindhoven sale by Philips.

Incoming leader, Vincent Querton, commented: "Eric can look back with pride over his long track record of achievements with Jones Lang LaSalle in the Netherlands. Now it is our task to ensure we build on this legacy by taking the Dutch business forward and ensuring strong profitable performance based on outstanding client service. These remain very challenging market conditions, but we have a fantastic client base and a great opportunity to galvanise and further strengthen this business."

Christian Ulbrich added: "Vincent will also be looking at the best long-term leadership model for the Netherlands, working closely with the senior team in the Netherlands and with Andy Mottram on our EMEA Management Board. However, we should be clear at the outset that Vincent's leadership should not be taken to mean that we will be creating a new combined Benelux business.

"We have asked Vincent to step into this role as he has built a very successful business in Belux, has the necessary language and leadership skills, and is supported by a talented management team in Brussels who will continue to drive strong performance across Belux."

Vincent Querton's executive leadership of Jones Lang LaSalle's business in the Netherlands takes effect this month and he will be spend a substantial portion of his time based in the Amsterdam office.
