Jones Lang LaSalle appoints new Head of Capital Markets in Germany (DE)

Jones Lang LaSalle has announced the appointment of Marcus Lemli (37) as its new Head of Capital Markets in Germany. Mr. Lemli joins the firm from Savills where he has been Head of Investment in Spain since 2004. Prior to that Mr Lemli spent eight years with Jones Lang LaSalle (and Jones Lang Wootton), five of which as Head of Capital Markets in Spain.

Christian Ulbrich, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle in Germany, commented: Germanys real estate investment market continues to improve with an increase in international capital flowing into the country. Our Capital Markets team in Germany is growing at pace having increased their transaction volume by 400% on same period last year, and we see the addition of Marcus as a key driver in increasing our market share.

Alastair Hughes, CEO Europe, added: Our business is becoming increasingly international and Marcus Lemlis cross-border experience and wide sector expertise makes him the ideal candidate to lead Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets in Germany.

Norbert Muller, who was previously Head of Capital Markets in Germany, has taken on a role in the pan European Capital Markets team at Jones Lang LaSalle and is based between Brussels and London.

Mr Lemli will join on 1st June 2006. He will report directly to Christian Ulbrich and will be based in Frankfurt.
